University of Indonesia (UI) Head of Public Relations and Public Information Bureau Amelita Lusia confirmed the news of Sapardi Djoko Damono’s death.

Marketing Communication Manager at Eka Hospital Hospital Erwin Suyanto confirmed the news of Sapardi’s death at Eka Hospital.
Erwin said, Sapardi died due to decreased organ function.
“Decreased organ function, yes,” Erwin said when confirmed Kompas.com.
